CLIFTON MILES,

CO-OWNER/PRODUCER

Co-owner Clifton Miles is a producer, recording and mix engineer specializing in metal, hardcore, punk and hard rock. He opened Dead Room Recordings in 2008, which was named Best Recording Studio by the San Antonio Current in 2010. Then in 2018, Clifton joined forces with Mack Damon to create Stone Creek Sound. Two years later, Clifton worked with Grammy-winning producer Joe Barresi (Tool, Slipknot, QOTSA), who helped hone his approach to producing.

 

Clifton has also worked on soundtracks for award-winning indie films, and conducts annual guest teaching spots at UTSA. Additionally, Clifton is the founder and engineer behind ToneCrate, a worldwide subscription service that delivers amp profiles from top artists and producers.
